​our team is made up of Joe, Carla and Georgia the  A1 cats family. we are a dedicated team working hard to ensure all your cats needs are meet too the highest standard. We have recently refurbish the office space making it more welcoming and the kitchen area has been updated, where we have added a commercial dish washer for cleaning the cats dishes making it more hygienic. As well as that we have put new flooring in some of our pens and we intend to continue bringing our standards higher as the years go by, making for happy cats and owners because we understand how important you're cat is to  you.

Our Team

​​A1 Cats Country Hotel are a family run business and has been open since 1995 we confidently boast to be the best boarding cattery in the area, located in Whiston  Rotherham we are easy to access from the  M1 junction 33 and  it is ideal for people in the surrounding area such as Aston, Woodhouse, Handsworth, Brinsworth and many other areas to access with ease and many people do come from other parts of Yorkshire.

We are very proud of our tranquil countryside setting and the views, as  it ensures for a nice peaceful stay with us, as well as the lovely views your cat will get to stay in our spacious pens were they have  lots of room to enjoy playing with the toys we happily provide and a scratch post, they also have their much needed litter tray, we're we use recycled wood pellets so no harmful chemicals!, and of course your cat gets a comfy cat bed and clean bedding, as well as a little chair for them to sit and watch each other or enjoy the music we play for them , and if you want us to add you to WhatsApp will will do that on the day you bring your cat/s in and you can ask for updates and videos of your cat/s , but do note these are done when we have the time to do them.

Don't forget to inform us of your cats menu, we do try to provide for every diet and brand  of  food you need all in with the price! If your cat is on medication please let us know before hand and we will let you know if we are able to administrate it, but please note we don't give medication through injections.

Feel free to visit before you make up your mind we will be happy to show you around, the visit must be booked before hand so we have the time to show you around, bookings are done with in our opening hours of 8.30 am to 11 am.

A few important things to remember we need your cats up to date vaccination cards  and don't forget to book early as we  get full very quickly!!
